is the $10 grading fee worth it on resale for autographed baseballs?

I did post this on the autograph forum, but it doesn't look like it gets a whole lot of action.

I have several super clean autographed baseballs of Hall of Fame members (Dimaggio, Mantle, Koufax, Mays, Aaron, Berra) along with many of the Hofers from the 70's (Bench, Rose, Schmidt, Jackson, Brock etc). From the little bit that I know of autograph grading (clean ball, clean, bold signature, sweet spot signing), these balls hit it on all points. However, when I look at completed sales on Ebay, the results can be inconsistent with respect to whether or not graded balls do any better than simple authenticated balls. Is there a grade that would typically sell for more than an ungraded one? Would they need to grade 8 or better or 9 or better to warrant the additional $10 spent for a grade?

Any insight or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW, I got a great deal on the lot of balls, so I don't necessarily need monster numbers to do fine with these. Thanks, Tom
