    Well, at least the seller was honest about it. Unlike many of the scammers on FleaBag, he didn't cut it out of the holder and try to sell it as a raw Gem Unc.

    I give the seller credit, but why would someone starch a nice note like that ????? IMO it is ruined.

    Not being a purist like most of those on this forum, I don't find that note obnoxious. I would not mind owning it, starch and all as it LOOKS GREAT. But, this starching must be akin to cleaning a coin, so I do understand. At least PCGS didn't go for the ruse.
