Trueview?
Are the TrueView photos you get these days with PCGS Secure the same you receive in the Regular holder with the $10 TrueView request? If so, why would one opt for the Regular holder with the $10 Trueview request? PCGS Secure would be $5 cheaper. I feel like I am missing something???

A: Example: If I submit 10 coins and only wish to have 2 TrueView'ed $30 is saved on a Regular holder level submission vs Secure.
The resulting TrueViews are the same though regardless if it's a reholder or Secure order.
Secure Plus and regular TrueView are the same.. I just had a submission under Secure Plus and it came with the same TrueView I would have gotten, had I paid the $10.00 vs. the $5.00 SP fee..
Thank you Justin.
IMHO the Secure holdered coins are mostly solid for the grade type coins. Rarely do you find an A coin in a Secure holder, but even if you found an A coin in a Secure holder it wouldn't do you any good. No chance for an upgrade.
I'm pretty sure if you crack the holder and submit the coin as a regular submission it can "get by" the secure scan and all that stuff. As some others have said, due to value or a coin being a foreign coin, some coins are required to be submitted via secure and in those cases, the Secure program should catch those.
If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. I read a thread a while back and this was the info I took away from it. It was an old thread on a 65 Flying Eagle that cracked and body-bagged the second time around to PCGS...but got the 65 back later. It was a fun and interesting thread to read. I'll see if I can find it later.
Like TO said, if you have a lot of coins and don't want/need them all to be done secure, then you're going to waste money on 2 different submissions or getting extra secure holders. I've done both ways and the TruView pics are the same as the secure pics.
