Hello everyone,

On Saturday, August 13th, Paul (Stooge) and myself are organizing a BBCE get together/rip fest at Steve's shop in Schererville Indiana. More details on specifics are to come, but Steve has been notified of this idea and he is more than willing to have us come in, purchase product from his shop and rip it. We felt that the middle of August was a good time for this as this is just after The National and new items seem to pop up. Everyone is welcome and we are hoping to have as many board members as possible. I will update this thread when I have more specifics like food, times, etc. I hope some of you guys can make it!

I look forward to meeting you and hopefully quite a few members that can make this event @ BBCE. Getting together to rip whatever interests you, and possibly share a box or 2 with whomever will be tons of fun.

I will rip a couple hobby boxes, maybe a vending box and a lot of junk wax.

How many can make this? If it turns out to be a success then we can do it every few months or 2x's per year.

No problem Paul I look forward to meeting you and any other members that decide to come as well. I will definitely be ripping 1980 Topps baseball as well as some 1984 OPC and whatever else comes up. I will be purchasing some stuff to keep unopened for my collection as well.

That would be great if it became a quarterly or a two time a year thing...let's hope we get a decent turn out! Come on fellas, let's eat like pigs and rip some cards!

11 days went by and not a single person mentioned that this was an awesome idea or if they would come.

The next time I come up with an idea, I will keep it to myself.

Let's crack that 6 box 1979 case. Seems priced right given what these from a sealed case boxes have been going for lately.

It is an awesome idea and a fun time. Geographically, timing and financially after the National it's near impossible for me to commit. You guys should periscope it or have some sort of live feed so that we can watch.

What about a rip at the National or is that a no can do? Have a great time. Let us know if you can do a live feed.

I have been fortunate to be able to "shop" at BBCE a few times since their move to Scherville, IN. Not only is it an amazing warehouse to see, but purchasing packs, boxes and even singles is really fun. Plus, the ability to crack open a case with some other board members and have the ability to have the box(es) authenticated and wrapped on the spot with the FASC (from a sealed case) designation, is awesome.



As we get closer, I hope others (including myself) will be able to commit to attend. Even if some can't get there, there might be some that would like to do a case break and just have their FASC box(es) shipped. I know, if I can't make it, I would still be interested in participating in a few case breaks.
