    Because it's entertainment for us human beings, and humans have a means for wanting to root for their "favorite" team. Like me, I want my fav teams to win...but if they don't, I don't go throwing stuff, hitting things and raising hell, because it's just a game. You win some...you lose some, that's why they call it a "game"...works both ways.

    ok... anyways, not tryin to be hateful, but it dont bother me who wins because they all are good and since I get nothin out of it
    now it would matter to me if I made a bet with a friend, (illegal) lol

    it was funny.... in the AFC Championship Game (football) the Pats vs. Raiders

    there was a 'contriversial fumble call' & my friend's dad (being a die-had Raiders fan) went CRAZY!!! & after the game when they were interveiwing Tom Brady, he said "Ya, you know... i just went out there & did what i had to do." when asked about 'the call' he said "That call i knew wouldn't stand...it wasn't a fumble at all..." (not sure on actual quotes) @ that he took his shoe off yelled " YOU F***IN' LIER!!!!!!" and threw his shoe at the TV & almost knocked it onto the floor ($3,000 TV).

    Moral of the story?

    I dunno... funny.
