Am I the only person still amazed at how many dates and mintmarks were clashed in just the perfect place?

Aren't some of them better than others. Like the 55?

When the dies were aligned that just how they came out. Most I don't even think should be considered Bugs Bunnies. The true clash is on the 1955. You can spot them from a mile away and most dealers don't even look so see if they have one.

One I cherry and used to own. Sold it too cheap, but oh well. "originally toned" with a Taco Bell device for 6 months. Looks good for fast food.

im not amazed as much by the perfect place thing as i am the consistency across the years/mm. as stated the alignment oddly enough dictated the clashing not so much coincidence but if what you mean is that, isnt it weird about the placement creating a neat looking and easily associative variety (bugs bunny/vampire etc) and it being accepted as such, then yes, i agree it is amazing. image

i counted and there are 100,000+ 55 bugs 401s. 25% are fbl. these can be found easily sold by the roll and is one of those cases where a common but neat variety brings a decent premium over it significantly rarer counterparts, sometimes and/or sells quicker.

    i know a guy just made a 62 fbl 401.

there are others as strong as the 55 and some i would say some are stronger.
