Last year I bought a 1956-D Mint Set card, predominantly for the silver coins. Here they are. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

    UNBELIEVABLE!!!

    Because the Photobucket IMG "address" to the obverse image has the letters F U K in it, the "Nanny-bot" censor has turned those into ***, so the IMG address pointer does not work. Could the powers that be on this board PLEASE be aware of this issue, and potentially fix it? Thank you!


    BTW, the obverse of the 1st Washington quarter is toned up somewhat like it's reverse, although not to the same extent.

    I like the "brushed on" look of the dimes. Very nice quarter as well!
    MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

    Dang! Those colors are neat. And the skill to catch them in the photographs is outstanding.

    Thanks guys! I'm glad you like the coins.

    IMO the P mint card in the Mint Set was ho-hum, so I dickered with the dealer to just buy the D mint card.

    BTW, if you want to see the obverse on the first Washington, it is posted (same thread title) ATS...

    Pretty exceptional quarters. That mint card usually displayed quarters with dramatically different toning patterns on each side, yours being the exception.
