Opinion on price of graded 53 Topps set

I completed a 53 Topps set in PSA 6+ grade a few years back and was curious on what the members thought a set like that would get in an auction. I am not looking to
Sell as this is my favorite set. Won't see artwork like that on cards anymore. Anyway the set is a 6.2 overall grade with 65 6.5's and 42 7's the rest are solid 6's. The main four, the Mays, Mantle, Paige and Robinson are solid well centered 6's. Others stars I usually went 6.5 where I could. Any thoughts would be appreciated. My next set is 54 in straight 7. I have all the stars just knocking commons out now. Been away from the boards for awhile good to be back.

  • I shouldn't have guessed in the 6.5's and 7! I was way off. I'm at 47 6.5's and 25 7's. Anyway thanks Bob for the message! Big help

No problem! Spreadsheets for '53 and '54 are on their way. image
  • A real broad ball park would be about $20k-$25k. I think a set break would be the best approach though. PWCC just broke a set of mostly 7's, Mantle PSA 6 "Certified High End" and Jackie, Mays, Paige PSA 7's from the set and it looks like it hit $42k ($18k just from the big 4).
