Topps vault proofs

I have become interested in th topps vault proofs recently, specifically the acetate overlay proofs. Does anyone have any info on them? Are they as sought after as a regular proof? Are they unique 1/1, or are there multiple copies? Does the acetate yellow or get brittle over time? Thanks in advance.
