I need a bit of help pricing a Buffalo

PTVETTERPTVETTER Posts: 6,051 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have a PCGS graded 1916 Buffalo MS64 (FS 402)

I don't see anything for 2016 year.

Is the PCGS price guide correct or a bit off?

I sold a PCGS-63 for $495 as a BIN on eBay a year or so ago, if that's any help. It was a true 2-feathers with the small feather completely missing.

PTVETTER - Love to see an image.

  • The price guide is a mystery to me. I recently sold a pop 1 private sale at $350. There are no other sales period. On the Price guide suddenly appears $750.

As another example, total pop 2 scenario. I Know the top pop went in a private sale at over $4,000. PCGS price guide... $400.

I'd rather they leave them blank then just make up numbers. Who is responsible for this, inputting goofy numbers.

I don't think there is such a thing as a price guide for the varieties.

It is simply supply and demand. I t doesn't matter how nice or how rare it is if nobody needs/wants it.
