Please help with this oriental , I think, gold ?? coin?

today I bought a collection of Canadian and US coins including some gold.
this coin was part of it and I have absolutely no idea what it is.
Hopefully someone can help.

the coin weighs : 7.9 grams
diameter is : 21.8 mm
thickness is: 1.8 mm

    Thank you all for your help.
    the coin was a total surprise to me when I found it in the boxes. However, it does not "fit" in to my collection of Canadian.
    Anyone interested? is Feebay perhaps the best way? Am not greedy.
