BTW I love big arsed bronze coins!
My YouTube Channel
I got both of them in decent shape, but the Birmingham Workhouse issued a 3 pence token in 1813 that weighs 2.5 oz, so then I had to have that - actually a couple of them. They also struck trial sixpence tokens in bronze, at Matthew Boulton's mint that weigh in at 5 oz each - imagine hefting that stinker in your pocket. I have only ever seen one of the tanners for sale, and I still want one.
