Seller midwest_fun seems to be causing a lot of trouble on eBay. Please help end his scam of selling "details" coins as high MS.

I've seen this guy too. I wonder where he got his entire inventory. Is this just other dealer’s bargain bin inventory?

While removing a details coin from a slab and listing it raw as unc., without disclosing the prior professional opinion, is unethical, ebay will not remove it. PCGS's opinion of the tooling when they slabbed it is their opinion. Seller's opinion after removing it from the slab is his opinion. Here lies the caution needed when buying raw coins on ebay.

They have multiple accounts and have changed usernames several times. They are/were selling jars, unopened rolls, and deceptive coins. To the tune of $100,000+ in the last 2 years.

I'm shocked eBay hasn't caught on to this. It's not a small amount when you consider the rolls of coins they have sold for thousands each as "unopened".

Old listings like these "Unsearched Roll Morgan Silver dollars. Estate Find. 1889 and 1881 Morgan Ends" for $2265 and "Original Bank Wrapped Silve Dollar Roll BU Carson City Seated + GEM 1876 Ends" for $10,100.
