Silver "grease" bar

This approximately 100 ounce bar was issued in 1968? by redeeming silver certificates at the US Assay Office in New York. I was a small boy when my father took me there and I am looking for any info on collectivity of these bars and value. They are marked with a grease pencil for their weight but most of the grease has worn off. Any info is appreciated I will try to post some pictures tomorrow.

Thanks

I remember these silver bars. Does anyone remember if they were 999 fine or 900 fine or both? Due to the problem of counterfeit bars in the marketplace, this would have to sold to a refiner who would have to pay you after they melted it and assayed it.
