1986 Topps Baseball centering question

Is t/b centering determined from the top of the team name and bottom of the player name? I assume so, but wanted to ask the experts first. Thank you.

For me...if there is an ill defined border for a card, 50-50 centering is when the three defined borders are of equal width. At least for me...it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
