    Should have made comments earlier-

    I enjoy golf clubs and looking at how they have evolved over time. There are several great clubs and I would have trouble assembling a list. Out of the earlier clubs I have seen (post wooden shaft) I would go with the MacGregor Tommy Armour Irons and the Eye-o-matic woods. Pedersen made an excellent set stainless steel irons and may have been the first manufacturer to do so.

    Most if not all of my clubs are in excess of 20 years old now- I do have two sets of Ping irons that are from the 1970s and early 1980s.

    I do like Ping putters-
