It was a note that was in my off limit list. I had owned it for 26 years and was attached to it big. But after thinking about it for a couple of days I decided I couldn't stand in the way of Dave finishing that set that he's worked so hard on.

For some reason these even 10,000 notes are very tough to find. I can certainly understand why it took 6 years to complete.
  • ok, now time for the star set Dave image

Wait, that 1995 should not exist, as well as some of the other COPE notes.

I am not sure when the practice began, but am positive that by the 1990's, it was customary to destroy any 9999 and 0000 ending notes, and replace them with two star notes.

The 20K, 80K, and 90K notes are COPE. You have some hidden treasures there.

    Very well done !!

  • Mind blowing accomplishment Dave. I'm in awe. Congrats!

They were not 100% consistent with pulling those notes. I have seen others with 4 and 5 ending zeros. Still not easy to find.
