In researching the card it shows the Robinson and much of the set as produced with both white back and grey backs. The POP report shows only 58 PSA 8 grey backs, but 332 PSA 8 white backs, but data suggests neither is more expensive in the market place.
I also read something that some Robinsons are coming back into PSA for re-labeling, and it's finding more grey backs that were originally unlabeled as to the back color.
Any opinions on which back color is more desirable or valuable?
Many Thanks;
Jack

1st series white or gray backs are both readily available and I don't think there is much of a difference in scarcity. PSA didn't start labeling them until a few years ago so the pop report is not going to be accurate. Personally I think the colors stand out better on the gray backs in general. On many of the white backs , the colors look more washed out compared to gray backs.
Good Luck
