Anyone a Breaking Bad fan? Better Call Saul Season 1 last episode...

interesting episode... involving a scene in which they con a man into buying a rare numismatic treasure.
the rare JFK facing left 50C piece.
which we all know is not rare.
saul is trying to sell a rare coin to a "stranger" at a bar (stranger is saul's friend)
but they claim it a value at $800.
but saul is selling at $200 because he needs cash.
saul heads to restroom
his friend calls to check the value with a coin dealer...
he calls no one, and has a pretend conversation with a coin dealer at the bar while
a observant business man over hears the conversation.
business man interjects into the deal offers to buy coin for $100.
hook line and sinker.

Slippin' Jimmy really got him good!

Brian Cranston will be doing LBJ in an HBO production and from the previews, it is AMAZING how much he looks and sounds like him!!
On the other side of the coin, it'll be interesting to see exactly how "Jimmy" ends up as "Saul" and how the relationship between Mike Ehrmantraut and Gus Fring develops.
Mike certainly doesn't resemble the Mike in Breaking Bad.
The name is LEE!
I'm a HUGE fan of Better Call Saul. Not only liked Breaking Bad but bought the whole series! One of my all time favorite entertainment franchises. I didn't really know who Bob Odenkirk was until seeing him on Breaking Bad but now I'm a big fan. He's not only a good comedian but a very solid actor as well.

Love both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. I will use my hipster card and brag that I watched from day one when no one knew about the show and you would get strange looks when you described it as "A high school teacher who is dying from cancer starts cooking meth". Ah, those were the days.
Anyways, Bod Odenkirk was on a sketch comedy show he co-created called Mr. Show. Very funny. I met him after a comedy show he did before BCS went to air and he is very nice and down to earth. He was hoping that the show would turn out well because he is not a dramatic actor and he did not want to screw it up. Awesome show and this season just keeps getting better and better.
My son binge-watched all "Breaking Bad" seasons/episodes, and I saw one or two of them. They looked interesting, but not having watched from the start & not having the time to catch up, I just never followed it.
However, based on my son's recommendations, I followed "Better Call Saul" from its beginning, and have really enjoyed it and its character/plot development.
I, too, am curious how the Season 2 finale will tie everything together, especially the mall manager situation from the season's 1st episode. It's strange, because, as a prequel to "Breaking Bad", we all know where Saul ends up in the end (although I don't know if his brother or girlfriend were ever in the "Breaking Bad" series). But the writers have made the trip wonderful to watch! It'll be interesting to see where this season leaves off and where it takes us next season.
On a separate note, the only other series I watch & enjoy the writing & acting as much is "Fargo".
It's a shame their seasons are so short, and there's not more of these types of shows and less of the insulting, crotch-aimed ones like "2 Broke Girls", etc................

Fargo is great, but I prefered season 1 over 2. Have you see The Americans also on FX? I think it's the best show on TV. Starts out a bit slow but it's great.
Been enjoying it......
What was better TV than the last couple of episodes of 'Bad' ?
"Crystal Blue Persuasion"......
I am also addicted to, "The Killing".
I know it is already into season four and where the heck was I not have heard about this series until lately, yet it is definitely worth a watch.

As for "Fargo", at the start of Season 2, I also liked Season 1 better. But as it played out, I liked Season 2 just as much as the first, each for its own reason. But great acting & story-telling! (I just loved Billy Bob Thornton's wry sense of humor in Season 1 - - like the time he said "missed a spot" to the guy cleaning the post office floor). Not sure why they threw in that whole garbage about the spaceship in Season 2, however....... I also like how one didn't have to see Season 1 to follow/appreciate Season 2.
Silly me....... thinking the season's final episode would resolve/answer why Saul was working in the mall to start the season's first episode........... Looks like I'll just have to tune into Season 3!

I think the Cinnabon/mall sequences are occurring in the future- after 'Breaking Bad' ends.

You are correct on this. I have a feeling that in one of these flashforwards Kim will walk up to the counter.

I missed the humor and more craziness in season one. As for the spaceship, the creators said they threw it in because they wanted to show how ridiculous/unbelievable the attack on the motel was by showing a spaceship show up and then everyone went back to doing their own thing.
+1
Edit: missed the quote
Enjoyed last episode where guy was thinking taking out guy w sniper rifle. In GTAO have done same thing but u gotta take shot b4 they move. I think most fantastic shot in the game was taking out player from a couple blocks away from building rooftop who must have thought my blip on radar safely out of range.
We'll see next season......
