OT: But my old best buddy (my little 4 legged daughter) in the world needs your prayers

Need a few little Doggie prayers for our old girl here as a lot of our friends , family , and the good lord knows how much we love our animals . Also , anyone that knows me knows that this old girl "Chloe" has lived a great puppy dog life !!! She is around 20-21yrs old and my FIRST baby is having some hard times with her health , so please say a little Doggie prayer for her . She's a fighter and doing pretty good at the moment but needs all the help she can get .

Yes , some of you here know I look like a big ole rough and tough burly guy and some people wonder why and how I wound up with a little Minature Poodle , well thats not relevant but me and this girl have been pretty damn good buddies for a LONG time and we've been through alot of tough times and tough $hit together and thats all that matters to me !!! LOL

20+ years for a dog is exceptional.



I have two fur children too: Bull and Kitty, a gray tabby and a orange tabby. I know how easy it is to be attached to them.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. It is hard having a pet a very long time and seeing them decline, our oldest cat had his 20th birthday a couple of months ago and he has a lot more health issues now.

I know what you are going through and my heart goes out to you. I had a rescue cat that lived to 21 years and she was my buddy in every sense of the word. When she finally passed away, it was devastating. But as they say time really does heal all wounds.



My current 2 boys and I both wish you and Chloe all the luck in the world....and hope Chloe gets better.

Sorry that both of you are going through some rough times. Chloe has been very lucky for the past 20 years to have an owner who loves her so much. That's why she has lived 20+ years. Hope that you both can enjoy a little more time together. As tough as it is now, there will be happier times ahead.

Lost my Buddy a few years ago and wrote this ode to him. He was a blue healer and we did a lot of walking a stalking rabbits in the local parks:



Ode to buddy



Buddy never went away,

He walks beside us everyday.



He came to us as a puppy,

Scared, and all wet and muddy!



Potty training was a breeze, he was

as smart a pup, as a dog can be.



He trained us well and we quickly learned,

He had his way or we were scorned!



A nose for smelling each flower and bush,

To him it was heaven, each walk with us.



Wherever we roamed his eyes were peeled,

He led the way, never heeled.



What was more fun than spying a bunny?

The “claw” with Ty and Zach was tops and funny!



Buddy never went away,

He’s with us each and every day!

My two fur babies are getting up in years (Bull (a gray male tabby / bengal 12 this coming Autumn) and Kitty (an orange female tabby 11 this coming January)).



I am VERY attached to Bull, and don't know if I could go on without him. Both of them will be going on a nutritional supplement program very soon.



I wished our pets lived 80 to 100+ years like we do.
