![grayroads](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/702/nJ6YFXANNP16F.jpeg)
Wanted a 1954 proof set with the coins still in their original cellophane sleeves.
Box is not important unless you have one that bears the original mailing sticker from the US Mint. PM for the exchange of information. Thanks.

Never seen a '54 Flat pack. All legit '54 Proof coins shoulda been in individual cellophane sleeves, stapled together in a paper tape sealed 2-1/2" X 2-1/2" X 3/4" matchbox.
coindeuce is absolutely correct. I personally obtained proof sets directly from the PHL mint starting in 1954, ($2.30 each, I believe). Upon receipt, I always removed (Sadly, in retrospect) the 1954 and 1955 coins from the flimsy cellophane sleeves/ugly little boxes and placed them in hard plastic Capital Holders. I discarded the sleeves and little square boxes. Some time during 1955, the mint switched to the plio-film sealed sets, which were housed in the brown (or sometimes ivory) colored envelopes through 1964. Many times, the brown envelopes were not "mint sealed", or were so lightly sealed that you could open them easily without damaging the envelope, and inspect the coins. Now, many people are selling "unopened, mint sealed" sets. Peopw who pay a premium for these "never opened" sets are being ripped off imho.
