I think that a "Fort Worth 295" error is specific for Series 1995 $1 notes. I don't know if other denominations or series exist with similar small back plate number errors on Fort Worth notes. If so, and the small back plate happened to be a "295" that would really be a find.

Welcome to the Forum - watch -someone will definitely know a lot more...

The BP 295 errors were confined to the $1 1995 FRNs, and only at FW. Block I am aware of are: GM, GN, HE, IF, IG, IH, JF, KI, KJ, LW, and LX.

    There are other interesting $1 engraving errors: 1974 BP905, 1981A and 1985 BP129, 1988A FP106, 1999 FP90, and others.

There is also the the G-Star bp 295 error. Very rare, few are known, and all observed are in circulated condition.

    1) HF is perhaps a typo? I've got HE from runs 9, 10

    2) IH is a new block I didn't know before, thank you

    3) I've got several from KJ too

Thanks for the heads up synchr.

IH is a VERY tough block for 295 errors. I forgot about the G*.

It wasn't one I ever found, that G* is tough
