The central states show is coming up at the end of April. It is about a 6 hour drive for me. Anyone who has been in the past give me info whether it is worth the effort to attend ? Thanks

Is it worth a 6 hour drive? It depends what you're hoping to find / do / accomplish, but I'd say if you are asking the question it probably is worth the trip. But get there early.

The show usually hosts almost all the local Dealers who normally set up at the bigger national shows and then a number of National Dealers. I don't recall an enormous number of Dealers with foreign coins and wouldn't think there would be many of those guys since they will have a Chicago area show 2 weeks earlier.

It's about 50% the size of the ANA show IMO.

Very worthwhile if you can stomach the prices.

If you do what you always did, you get what you always got.
  • PCGS will be attending the show, we will be accepting submissions for "on-site" and "office" service levels.

It's a good show. Don't care for the drive or the city at all.

Thanks James, that's very generous of you. How would a board member take advantage of this offer? Any forms that need to be filled out, etc. ?

I have been to the CSNS show the last 3 years. It is a great facility and a very good show. I drive 8+ hours.image

I like it and will be there dropping off a bunch of hand picked coins to PCGS for onsite grading.

If things go my way, I'll report back. If I get the shaft, I won't!
