Baseball cube question

I finally am getting the man cave finished and started unboxing signed baseballs I've had for 15 years. I know I've been buying the UV protected Ultra Pros for quite awhile, but I'm wondering if there's any good way to tell if some of these questionable cubes are UV protected? The basement has 60 watt flood lights so they aren't super strong, but I'd hate to see a ball fade over a few dollar investment.

Any tips are greatly appreciated. And when the basement is finished, I promise I'll post pictures!!!

Corey - the best solution is to use only LED lights in your basement -- then it's not an issue. It will cost a fair amount to swap everything out but they last an incredibly long time.

I would just replace the suspect cubes with new ones. That way your mind is at ease.

Craig, that's what I did. I needed cubes for some other balls I had gotten at Brewers Fan Fest. I narrowed it down from a bunch to about 8 based on when I got them. Some I know I picked up when I first started collecting and had been boxed up for years because I didn't have the room to display them.
