How quickly to list?

I remember a thread from a few months ago regarding this topic, but I will ask the question again -- when do you list a new card on the registry?

I just purchased a card on ebay, and will likely pick it up in person next week. I'd love to list the card right now, but should I? I am afraid it will jinx the transaction, some sort of card board karma...

  • My guess would be it is up to personal preference.... Personally if it is some one I have done business with in the past and I feel confident that I will get the card I post fairly soon after the auction... (if it goes sour you can always delete the card at a later date... ) For people I have not dealt with I wait until I receive the card....

    Brian-

Have no fear...the dealer you bought the card from is legit and you should not have any problems with the transaction...go ahead and register your very rare 1965 card.

    John,

My concern was more superstition related -- nothing else should be read into my comments. I am actually going to SoCal for vacation next week, and will pick the card up in person.

Speaking of which, does anyone know of any good brick and mortar card shops in the San Diego, La Jolla, or Long Beach areas?
