Hoffentlich hat der Osterhase viele bunte Eier fuer euch.
In certain parts of Europe it is custom to have chocolate-, candy and Marzipan Easer bunnies, as well baked (bundt cake type) Bunnies. everything was hidden on the property and kids had to go and hunt and find the goodies.
Eggs were always colored and decorated. after about a week or so, left over eggs were sliced up together with thinly sliced onions and made into egg salad with a vinegar, salt and sugar dressing.
and of course, eveyone has to attend church on easter sunday ( at least in small towns) otherwise people would "talk about you not having been in church".
