True View Photograph Question

Why can one not request another color background for their TrueViewed coins?
Has this issue been discussed here in the past?
PCGS customer service told me simply that it can not be done. A white background is the only option.
I have photos of coins in my collection taken by other photographers with a black background. I really like Phil's work but prefer the dark background. See my "Box of 20" below for examples.
Does anyone know?

One of the download options uses a transparent background. It's relatively simple to use any background you'd like with image editing software like photoshop.
Precisely. Create a black rectangle of the same dimensions and then copy-and-paste the transparent-background image on top. Flatten the layers and save as a jpeg. You can then upload it to your PCGS inventory for use in a registry set.
It will be just the coin, though. None of the text.
Lance.
1. Select both coin halves with the circular marquee. Guides can be helpful here. You'll need to hold the shift key to select the second circle or the first will become deselected.
2. Ctrl+Shift+I to change the selection to the background.
3. Ctrl+I inverts the background colors. Unfortunately, changing the color of the PCGS logo.
4. Open the Hue/Saturation dialog with Ctrl+U. Slide the Hue control to 180. This fixes the color of the logo.
5. Save your result.
