Will the Dubs give Jordan perpetual nightmares?

59-6. 17 left -- 11 at home (undefeated all season) & 6 roadies. Gotta go 14-3 the rest of the way.

The Spurs come a callin' three more times, with two of those @ AT&T (where no visiting team has won, either).

No Iggy for a couple of weeks, which will hurt.

Nate Silver had 'em at a 43% success rate prior to #65, which I found interesting.

I say if GSW takes two of three from SAS, they'll do it. If they don't, they can't have more than one slip-up the rest of the way, and that's a daunting proposition.

Pelicans @ Oracle tonight. Hope they don't get unibrowed.

Oh, and Curry turned 28 today. Hate to rain on such a glorious parade, but he's now on the other side of the pinnacle for a pro baller. Really hope his breaks don't give out, cuz I love the guy.

  • At least the NBA is interesting again. It really is confounding how well GS is playing this year, and yet the Spurs are looming like the same ol' same ol' of so many years past when they won their titles. It's a shame they're both in the same conference. If they meet in the Western Finals, it should be THE Finals. Sorry East.

I'd be surprised if they don't finish with 74 wins.

Don't worry about Iggy, they've got a KU Jayhawk(with a National Championship) that can give them quality minutes.

Bogut is out tonight, doesn't look good for the Dubs.
  • Imagine a scenario whereby SAS could end up with the 3rd best all-time regular season record and still be only the 2nd best team in the league.

Not a bad loss, all things considered. No Iggy, no Bogut, no Ezeli, a hostile environment where no visiting team wins, the Splash Bros not being able to make a ripple in the ocean (thanks to the Spurs' stifling D).......yet they were right there in the 4th.

A best-of-seven between those two will be Christmas in May.

Looking like a real possibility now. If they hold serve at home and win one of three remaining road games (@Utah, San Antonio & Memphis), hola 73-9.

Will be interesting to see how Kerr juggles matters once they clinch.

They will break the record but would loose a 7 game series against the 96 bulls

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Warriors gutted out a win last night in Utah in overtime. The team did not play well offensively most of the game. Their defense was very good. 68-7 with 5 home games and 2 road games to go. It is looking more likely that the Warriors will win 73 or more games. The team looks like it is gearing up for the playoffs also. If their injured players come back in the next week or so the team should be ready to defend their title.

So much for that. The Warriors have been playing some revolting basketball lately. Their defense is absolutely abhorrent, they are turning the ball over at an alarming rate, and Curry is starting to look tired.

If Kerr is smart, he'll start slicing and dicing minutes, if not give entire nights off. Cuz if the Warriors play like this after the regular season ends, they will be unceremoniously bounced.

I think Pop has the right game plan : rest players and forget about regular season games. The Warriers are knocking themselves out trying to reach 73. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Pop rests guys for the games coming up against GS.

Lose to Boston at home, lose to Minnesota at home (after being up 17), then reel off three in a row -- including two over the Spurs -- to set up somewhat of a gimme against Memphis for #73. I guess I'm the only one who saw it playing out this way. image

On a serious note, anyone here going tonight? Would be epic...
