West Shore of the Black Sea

So, a fellow Flickr member has been posting, on Flickr, some really neat images of coins, connected with the history of Bulgaria. These coins are so nice that I thought I would create my own small sub-set.

Indeed very nice coins, good image of Niké on the bronze coin, is the second silver one a Tetradrachma ?

The Mesembria coin is a tetradrachma. However, I do not think I will use it as may exemplar for Mesembria. Maybe if the small Corinthian helmet on the reverse was nicer. The smaller coins are striking, with a facing helmet on the obverse and the quartered reverse.
