Is the coin you are considering have 4 possible grades?
The Heritage archives and PCGS price guide will get you pretty close.

In looking at the Greysheet bids for Seated dollars, it looks like a lot of the amounts need to be revised.
For example, bid for the 1872-CC in VG is $1,500. Good luck finding one anywhere near that amount.
The last PCGS VG sold was a VG-10 that sold for $2,468.
An authorized PCGS dealer, and a contributor to the Red Book.
