Buena Park Coin Show - March 12-13, 2016

Just a reminder that the Buena Park Coin Show is this weekend, March 12-13, 2016 at the Retail Clerks Hall on Stanton.

One of the better shows in SoCal, plenty of free parking.

Will have a table there as usual, but only will be bringing a selection of my inventory (so let me know if you're hoping to see something in particular).

Anyone else planning on being at the show??

They do door prizes every hour at the show which is fun too. 10-6 on Saturday, 10-4 on Sunday.

Be sure to stop by and say hello image

All you guys in southern California (and Florida for that matter) are so lucky. Seems you guys have coin shows every week.

Certainly was busy! Aisle space was at a premium. (People....leave your backpacks in the car, OK?)

It did clear up a bit during the lunch hour, though, so I got my buying in then, and ran for fresh air. image

    Two NEWPS:

    1) 1921-S Walker in PCGS F-15....perfect grade for me, right before the price guide jump....and at a shockingly good price to boot. I was mentally prepared to go 30% or so higher, but I'm sure you won't blame me if I didn't negotiate up, and just said, "Um....Ok!" image

    2) 1836 Coronet large cent, PCGS AU-58+ from "The Penny Lady".....to replace my 1838 XF-45 that I never really liked the look of. As you can imagine, nothing to complain about with the look of an AU-58+. image

If you are looking for high AU coins of this type, seek her out! She's got a boat-load.

Had a good time, and may go back for a mop-up look around tomorrow since it's so close to me....
