Is there a monogram?

rare rag is sure right. It looks like if you breathed on it the wrong way that it would crumble to dust.
I don't know a lot about obsoletes so how rare is it? can anyone post a scan of a complete note?

I don't see a monogram, and looking at the Haxby plate note it seems that monogram would be in the lower left just to the right of the 2 counter where it goes from dark to light at that border

I believe it to be the G28 listed as SENC in haxby, if someone is aware of another example I'd like to hear about it

I did some searching in many of the archives and could not find another G28.

cool, it seems this bank was quite sound and it went on to become a national issuing bank, as such it appears anything on it is rare as hen's teeth and cancelled

But this is Haxby G28a and not G28 (without the ABNCo monogram). It is also the Haxby plate note.



Bowers lists G28 as unknown (SENC re Haxby).



He lists G28a as URS-4 (5-8 known).
