What is a dual service card?

I was looking at this month's specials, and I noticed that dual service cards are not permitted. What exactly is that? If I want to swap out blue flip cards for red flips, is that a dual service? There's no help at the PSA glossary, in case you were going to look there.

Like charrigan said, blue to red is just a crossover. Pricing is the same a regular submission, and you can get the bulk/special pricing if you meet the minimum numbers of crossovers. You can't mix blue to red flips with regular submissions though.
  • I know its a dumb and probably basic question but why would you do a crossover? We all have to start somewhere. Red grades the card and blue authenticates the signature? No?

In order for the card to be included in your registry, e.g. Signed Post War Hall of Famer rookie cards, the card must be in a red flip holder. That's my reason for wanting the cards to be crossed over.
