Anyone know when Topps issued new sets in the 50/60/70s?

Currently Topps typically starts selling the Series 1 cards in Jan/Feb.

Anyone know roughly when Topps cards became available in the 50/60/70 era?

Just wondering if it still winter or if it was later back then.

In the late 60's through 84 or 85 usually within a week either way of Opening Day, at least
in N.E. Tn. Donruss and Fleer were a little earlier. By 1990 or 1991 Donruss was live a week
or two before the New Year. Nothing like opening a box and the sweet smell of the gum while
sorting through the cards. Oh to have a time machine!!

In the 70s, I distinctly remember the new cards coming out in late January. But it could depend on location, I was in Brooklyn.
