2016 National

The National is in Atlantic City this year. I was thinking of making the drive. I noticed a VIP all access package that includes Wednesday Night Sneak Peek; an exclusive VIP Gift Package, 12 selected free VIP autographs, one-half hour early admission each day, use of the VIP Lounge and additional benefits.

Maybe from past Nationals or from this years National, does anyone know what could be included in the VIP Gift package and who is signing this year that could be included in the free VIP autos? What is in the VIP lounge? Thanks

  • The gift package has been 3-5 card sets provided by Panini, Topps UD, etc specially made for the National. The free VIP signers are usually guys with local connections who aren't big names nationally. In Cleveland, it was guys like Len Barker. In Baltimore guys like Rick Dempsey. They should start announcing them soon. Note that the basic package includes 6 random names from the free VIP signers list, and 6 wild cards. Many people trade or sell these signing tickets.

The VIP lounge is a room off the show floor with tables and chairs. Other than the Wednesday night reception, there isn't food or drink provided.

The VIP package is worth it if you will be going for 4-5 days, and value getting in 30 minutes early, or want the special cards and autos.

    Thank you, 3 under par
  • Meh. Barely sounds worth it. If at all.
  • Maybe someday they can blow by this need to provide exclusivity for those that need it least and realize that the only VIP's left in this game have yet to reach puberty.
