    Very nice showing all!

Berny, that International Bank Obsolete is a great find!

I picked this up for peanuts... I don't think the coin shop that sold it has any idea what a Ladder Radar is, much less a 3210, much less in 67PPQ!

  • Few seconds ago... It's in bad condition, but very rare.

Beautiful notes everybody. Love that Super GEM ladder/radar.

This note was on the BST maybe 2 months ago. I messaged the seller letting him know I loved it, but needed 3 weeks to scrape the money together.

He sent to auction and I picked it up for $100 less than his asking price.....

I picked this one up from the same forum member! image

It is officially my first and only $1 SC in gem. For my current collecting goals, $1 SC's are not on my list. However, I thought this one looked super nice and I do love the Woods Mills signature combo! Reminds me of the 1928c FRN's

    Before and after.

This one is quite a rarity and the first I've every seen on Ebay (and I've been looking since 1998.)

Not sure if I've posted this somewhere else or not. image No bargain price this time.

Anyone else having Firefox freeze-up? I try to edit and it locks up and have to re-start Firefox. It used to pop up an advertising window which I simply deleted, now it basically freezes/crashes ("not responding"). Don't want to have to change programs as it'll kill all my pictures here. image

  • Nice catches... love or hate Ebay, you can't argue it's one heck of a market if you search hard and long enough.

I finally gave up with Firefox and switched over to Google Chrome (not that I wanted to do so), maybe it's Windows 10 I don't know. Maybe in time Microsoft Edge will mature.

I underbid the Heritage note last year and had completely forgotten.

This is the most common denomination with four now known.

Nice pickups! Danny, you know I like those replacements!

This closed on Sunday and I didn't buy it but I thought it was a cool obsolete. Not as good as the one you posted but still pretty desirable Lime Rock Bank

Tiger, I won that note you mentioned.

Haxby lists all notes from the Lime Rock in Providence as SENC, though it Heritage sold a $1 in 2002, and $2 from the Newman Collection recently (I was outbid on that one). Bowers has that same $1 in his encyclopedia. The bank was previously known as the Smithfield Lime Rock Bank.

Here's what it looks like in hand. A bit rough, but I'm happy to have an example:

Also picked up this counterfeit recently:

And this check. I love building vignettes, but wish the stamp didn't obstruct the view:
