Any other ANS members?

I just renewed my membership in the ANS, which leads me to wonder if anyone else here is a member of the ANS?
I am also a member of the ANA. About the only value I get from either membership is the club's magazine. I have to say that while the ANS is significantly more expensive than the ANA, I find virtually every article in its magazine interesting, which is a far cry from my opinion of articles in The Numismatist. Articles in the ANS magazine that seem to me to be arcane and esoteric before I read them are sufficiently well written that they generally wind up being truly fascinating. Articles in The Numismatist that seem to be boring or trivial before I read them virtually always wind boring or trivial.

Thank you.
I am a voracious reader. Do you have favorite prior articles or issues that you would you suggest? Content more important than subject if you will. Prefer hard copy as I burn my eyes out all day on monitors.

I read the magazine cover to cover. Sometimes I see articles about, say, coins issued in the 9th century by rulers I never heard of somewhere around Turkey, Iran, or Turkmenistan and think "Man, that article will be so boring." But invariably the story is interesting. Maybe because it's about coins ...
I also buy the Colonial Newsletter from the ANS even though I don't really collect colonials. I like reading it but, in all honesty, I prefer the magazine. It's just so glossy ...
