i always liked nfl stuff like that. just saying
  • Wow, a Newfoundland paper 25 cent piece of 1912-1915.
A Newfoundland 25 cent coin was not invented until 1917.
Previously 20 cent pieces were minted.

As promised, Here the images of my NFL notes. they are scarce, especially ONE which is the only other presently known outside the National Currency Museum in Ottawa.....and, mine is better.
Do you experienced BN people agree with the grades?
and , since I am planning to eventually sell them, what do you guys think these could be worth in the US market, considering the scarcity.
Should they perhaps sumitted to a US TPG?
    thank you all for participating.

BCS is a very conservative tpg so I don't doubt the grade (without actually seeing the note in hand). My suggestion is to consign it to a Canadian auction like Coin Expo, RCNA Annual meeting or Torex (this one just happened last weekend so the next one won't be till the fall)

BCS is more popular here in Canada as they follow Canadian grading standards. Since your target market for these notes are the Canadian market I highly suggest AGAINST cutting them out and sending them to US tpg. People buying these higher level notes know to buy the note and not the holder
    Always looking for US 22666622, 34444443 and 18111181 Radars & Perfect Flipper Serials consisting of 6, 8, 9, 0

I agree. However, you need to know that that if you want to sell them on eBay, BCS seems to be accepted at ebay.ca but not at ebay.com.

I have a few BCS graded notes and their reception here in the U.S. is "okay" but doesn't have the clout of a PCGS or PMG graded note. I've been 'advised' to cut them out and send them to either PCGS or PMG, but I won't. The notes are what they are, so I'll just save the fees. Yes, BCS has a reputation for conservative grading and that disappoints some folks I know. To me it's always the NOTE and not the holder. I definitely would NOT cut them out and send them to a U.S. TPG.
