KSA to PSA - any crackout experiences?

Can anyone share any KSA crackout or crossover experiences?

I thought there was a more recent thread on this topic, but it may be buried in one of the general hockey threads: Link 1

Many previous threads. Typically PSA = KSA - 2. KSA grading is very inconsistent, though, so it varies card-by-card.

Thanks for the info. I kind of figured there were previous discussions about the subject. I did a search for KSA before I made the post and didn't see anything. The new website doesn't work right on my Android phone, so maybe it's me.

My only experience was a KSA 8 to a PSA 8.

I was actually looking at this card last night, but I passed since I didn't think PSA would grade it higher than a 7. Thoughts?

I don't think it would grade even a 7 with the front surface/PD issues.

I too was looking at some of the PWCC Hockey in KSA holders.

I understand there grading is probably a grade or two higher than PSA, but I was wondering, if KSA does not check for cards being trimmed or altered.

The PWCC auction had some older/vintage hockey cards I was tempted to bid on and/or was out bid on.

Thanks for any knowledge or experience on this,

    Bill

They have been fine in my experience with trimming. Extremely lenient on surface issues, many of which can't be seen in scans, which is why I recommend most stay away.
