Fake Canada 2014 $250 silver owl.

A dealer on my old dealer-to-dealer network reported that a person came in trying to sell a fake Canada 2014 $250 silver owl. That denomination should be four inches in diameter and weigh 32.15 troy oz. This piece was only one ounce, 39 mm. Had fancy presentation box but no certificate. Even had colorized eyes.

Not purchased so not checked to see if even silver. Face value would be around $175 U.S.

I think that you have your measurements wrong. Do you know how big 4" and 32 troy ounces is? I think that someone did the conversions wrong. Maybe I'm thinking of the 2015 Great Horned owl (1 oz), not the snowy owl that is 1 kg (or supposed to be).
