Glad PCGS also preserved the provenance. I would cross some of my Millennia coins too, but for the 1% crossover fee.
I have one with the same characteristics as the Millennia coin--same die clashing and semi-PL surfaces--and PCGS saw fit to put it in a 63 holder. I would really like to compare it side-by-side with yours, bidask.
Millennia coins were generally thought to have been overgraded by NGC. I think many wouldn't cross at grade. Actually, I am very surprised (and happy) this one did.
Congratulations! I'm very curious about how the TrueView photo turns out. Mine is a 62 (not Millennia but likely from the same hoard) and one of my most difficult coins to photograph.
When I attended the ANA Summer Seminar in 2012 (?), I took a short course (evenings) that Ira Goldberg taught. It was based on the Millennia Collection. It was fund to see a number of the coins in hand (I assume that they were bought by the house), and we were each given a signed copy of Money of the World, written by the Goldbergs and based on this collection.

I see no reason why it would NOT have crossed

Did you post about this attempt/plan here at some time earlier? What was the consensus then?

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
It's a stunner!

Do they get any better than that?
Not for this particular date, apparently.
