Interesting ebay bidding history

I was under bidder on an auction today for a Mel Ott cut autograph card. I was high bidder and then got outbid about 30 minutes after my bid. 0 feedback bidder had bid up the card every time a bid from another source came in. Within 10 minutes of the auction ending with the 0 feedback bidder winning the item gets relisted. I went back and coincidentally the same 0 feedback account has bid on multiple items from the seller and no one else I can see. Just thought I would mention it.

That's the only item he has bid on, 12 bids on only that item.

The bidder has a 100% bidding history with that seller, because this is the only item that he has bid on. It will be interesting to see if that bidder continues to bid on the sellers items. The sellers name is also kind of interesting...

Past 30 days my statement was correct, but looking deeper into his completed listings it's definitely shady.

Listing ended today and the seller relisted it for $950. Looks like a good one to report to eBay.

Definitely didn't like the price and won his own item to prevent the sale... sad "backdoor" for a no reserve auction. I wish eBay would do something about it, but we all know they probably won't.

Check his Sold listings. Looks like he's done it on nearly every item.

Yeah I had researched his sold listings for auction items and that 0 bidder showed up on every one I saw. I don't know why it shows under bidder history like the 0 bidder has only bid on the one auction. I messaged the seller with my concerns and he messaged back that he didn't know how to block bidders and that the 0 bidder was a "non-payer" on other items. He then offered to sell me the card at the auction closing price (after the 0 bidder bid it up $100). It's not a bad price for a Mel Ott cut but for general principles I'm staying away.

History only shows the past 30 days, several I looked at in his 'Sold' history were from December so not included.

Ah, the mysterious zero feedback bidder. They are like Zorro, swooping in mask and all and before you know it, your item gets knocked up in price. And, he is only targeting one seller and that is you. *sarcastic eye roll*

This is not a coincidence with how many times this seller's items have had this zero bidder involved. The unfortunate thing is that this seller has been on eBay for years, so who knows how many people have been bullied up in price.

    It is frustrating
