Evening,
So those of you who remember me from awhile back, know I'm a Non-Sports collecter, one of my favorite things are Uncut sheets and Strips from the 40's and 50's.
So anyway, I was going through my saved stuff a couple months ago when I decided to get back into cards, and discovered I had an old sheet called Tip Top Flip Cards sheet of 23 cards uncut, The Three Musketeers. I had been watching some of these on E-Bay, for more than 3 years! Over the years I have sold 10-12 of these sheets of the original 4 produced, them later 8 or so, and some more from later versions. Almost all have been in the $75-$150 range. They are not particulatily rare, probably somwhere in the neighborhood of 200-300 of these sheets uncut still in existence. And there might be 3 of us who have any interest in collecting them!
So anyway, I look on E-Bay to see who has sheets for sale, cause I have this idea of mounting, framed, 4 different sheets for my Man room, if mine doesn't sell. I list for 2 months, starting at $250, working my way down to $152, no interest, no offers, no nothing! OK great, nobody likes them, lets go back to my original idea, I sent all three of the other dealers, b-e-collectors, sv-cards, and Rick at Probstein telling them what I want to do, and offering them $100 each delivered, just to accomplish my vision of 4 of them Framed on the wall of my Man cave, and 2 declined, and the 3rd never even answered me!
I guess I just dont get it, to me after letting something sit on my Virtual shelf for 3+ years plus, to get anything for it, is just awesome. But I guess I am a business man and not an idiot!
YeeHah!

So either declined it or didn't answer.
The other two might think you low balled them. I have no idea what they have on their sheets, but if you offer say 50%
of their BIN amount, you more than likely will get turned down regardless if they are not selling.
Just because you couldn't get $152 for your sheet doesn't mean that another seller can't get more.
If in the past you sold sheets for up to $150, then your offer of $100 is too low apparently.
I don't think it's a bad business man that turns down offers. Maybe they don't need the money and they are waiting
for the right buyer to come along and pay what they are asking.
Keep on dancing.
