FSH: 222 Year Old Flip Over Double Struck Mint Error

1794 Fowler’s Whale Fishery, Middlesex D&H-306 Halfpenny, Flip Over Double Struck Error @ "$OLD" Shipped.
Major conder token errors are rarely encountered especially a flipped over double strike. Luckily it occurred on a variety with a great pictorial design on both sides. On the lower obverse you can see the “1794” date and “HALE FISH” on sea god Neptune’s chest along with the "W" & "RY" in the fields. On the reverse you see “Neptune’s Hair” in the sky and water spouting out of Neptune’s Beard instead of the whale's blowhole. Interestingly if you watch closely any second now the forth man in the boat is ready to harpoon the mysterious water shedding beard or toupee wearing whale. The obverse and reverse peripheral lettering isn’t legible due to the error. On a non error token the Obverse it states “HALFPENNY” and Reverse “PAYABLE AT I. FOWLER’s LONDON WHALE FISHERY 1794”. Since there was no interest in errors 222 years ago thankfully someone finally plucked it from circulation.
