2001 Topps Series 2 Jumbo box - ALL BRICKS! :-(

Has anyone recently opened a 2001 Topps Series 2 HTA box? I opened one tonight and all the packs are BRICKS! The cards are all stuck together... the freezer trick has no effect since the cards are already stuck together and are all damaged.

Is this a known issue for this release? Are there any other years/series that are known to share this same destiny?

    It happens. I've just chalked it up to a learning experience in times past when I've gotten boxes like that

    Yeah, I tend to look on the bright side when stuff like this happens. My ice cubes never get stuck together, so mixed beverages are always Gem Mint.
