Help with 1857 Flying Eagle Attribution

This coin is PCGS VF30, unattributed.

I have not seen anything this dramatic. Is it a DDO and RPD or something else?

Please help me out. Thanks.

I'm thinking that it's just machine doubling.

Looks like machine doubling to me. The obverse die is from the 'broken wing' hub. Note the gap in the right wing tip.

this series along with many other are known for strong m.d. and tricks a lot of folks.
