Winnemucca, NV type I note

I recently successfully bid on a 1929 $10 Winnemucca, NV note on eBay.......lot #371535976484. I noticed there was some abnormality print in the bank title which had an extra "C" inside the word "The".

I compared my note to others in the Heritage Auction archives and noticed the same thing.
It seemed only notes from "B" position had that error while the other were error free.

I think you're correct in having discovered an error. I checked my Winnemucca note which is an F position and doesn't have the extra bar in the H but the B position notes on Ebay and Heritage do as you mentioned. Nice discovery.
