What is the best area of the country for buying and selling in person?

I'm in Chicago and I feel like there is a lot of hobby activity in the Northeast. It seems like there are still a lot of big shows around Boston, NY, Philly, DC. It seems like a lot of dealers are in the part of the country too. I know there are a lot of people and a lot of sports teams in that crowded NE Corridor and that also is a factor. What do you think?
