Just got two shiny new 2016 pennies at the local Walmart, today Jan. 22nd, earliest I ever remember seeing them here in upstate NY.

    Brings back nice memories when my kids were young. Every year we had a contest to see who could get the first new-year coin in change. The winner got Dad to make their bed for a week.



    Now they are college students - and it's a lot more expensive than pocket change!
