1984 Star XRC #101 Michael Jordan - WILL PSA EVER GRADE THEM AGAIN?

Does anyone think they will grade them again? It is easy to tell the difference between real vs fake now.

    I would be very surprised

I do not think the financial incentive outweighs the potential financial loss.

there are not a lot of these cards out there and if they grade a fake or counterfeit there is a liability.

What makes it easier now than before. I'm not a collector of these cards so I'm wondering how you tell the difference.

I hope they do someday. It is the best Jordan card out there imo and think its crazy that PSA wont grade cards that should be considered rookies of some of the best players ever to play in the NBA. There is a whole thread about the Star cards. I don't think the fakes are any more difficult to spot than the fakes of 86 fleer, 33 goudy ect... There is a misconception out there that fakes were reprinted using the actual Star printing plates which to the best of my knowledge is not true. There were some subsets reprinted by Star and sold on QVC as being form the mid 80s.. but those were not the base cards like the 101 Jordan.
Scans of most of my Misc rookies can be found <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.collectors.com/m...y&keyword1=Non%20major">here
